Dr. Cindy Williams began her journey in optometry with undergraduate studies at Ohio Wesleyan University from 1972 to 1974, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State College of Optometry in 1978. With over 45 years of experience in both corporate and private practice, Dr. Williams has built a successful career in Atlanta, Georgia, where she practiced from 1978 until retiring in 2020.

 

An active member of the optometric community, Dr. Williams is affiliated with the Georgia Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and is a Diplomate for the American Board of Optometry. After selling her business and retiring and the passing of her husband, Dr. Williams remained in Georgia to be near her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. In 2021, she met her current husband from the Mississippi Delta and now divides her time between Oxford and Morgan City. Coming out of retirement, Dr. Williams enjoys working part-time once again in the profession she has loved for decades.
